Squishy Squid is made by an independent solo developer. This Privacy Policy explains how the game ("Squishy Squid," "the App," "I," "me") handles information when you play. The short version: it doesn't collect anything about you. The details are below.
Squishy Squid does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not share data with third parties at this time. Game progress (score, coins, unlocked skins) is stored locally on your device only.

If the App displays advertising, ads may be served through third-party advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob). These networks may collect and use data such as advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies. I will update this section with the specific ad network(s) used and links to their privacy policies before enabling ads.
If the App offers in-app purchases, all transactions are processed through Google Play's billing system. I do not collect or store payment card information — this is handled entirely by Google Play. Purchases (such as coins) are tied to your Google Play account and device, not to any account with me.
Squishy Squid is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. The App does not collect personal information from any user, and as such does not knowingly collect it from children.

I do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties, because I do not collect any. If this changes (for example, when ad or analytics SDKs are integrated), this policy will be updated to disclose exactly what is shared, with whom, and why, before that change takes effect.
Since all game data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its data through your device settings. I do not retain any copy of this data on a server, as the App does not use any server that stores user data.
I may update this Privacy Policy as the App's features change (for example, when ads or in-app purchases are enabled). I will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
